High-stakes massive multiplayer game

Brought to life by Reality Pump Studios, Two Worlds: Epic Edition is an expanded take on the original Two Worlds 3D role-playing game. This premium title effortlessly combines traditional action and RPG mechanics, offering players an epic and enjoyable gaming experience.

To top that off, Two Worlds: Epic Edition is also a massive multiplayer online game. It features an open world filled with all sorts of non-playable characters, different maps to explore, a bunch of rewarding quests, and tons of instances in which you have to make vital decisions. You can even challenge other players to player-versus-player duels.

With a huge world and challenging mechanics

Just like in any other reputable RPG, there is also a lot to explore in Two Worlds: Epic Edition. You can play it virtually alone or through the online multiplayer mode, which will introduce you to other players within the network. Its premise revolves around looking for the protagonist’s sister, Kyra, who has gone missing. Aside from the main quest, you can also go on the mini-quests given by the NPCs.

There is a large world to explore — with an assemblage of landscapes and an ensemble of bustling trading towns. The graphics may seem dated and there are a lot of empty expanses of sand or grassland, but the different maps are still worth exploring. Moreover, the game features an inventory system that lets you see everything. Similar items can be combined to become stronger versions of themselves, too.

However, while it is fun and challenging in many aspects, the game comes with its own set of drawbacks, too. These include having underdeveloped interiors, as the developers seemed to have focused on expanding the universe but not adding a lot of inner spaces, a confusing inventory system that gets full easily, and rather overpowered enemies. It is also heavy on the dialogue, which can bore some players.

Has a lot to offer

If you are looking for a grand adventure you can play on your own or with other players, then Two Worlds: Epic Edition is a great title worth checking out. It employs classic RPG mechanics veterans know and love, down from the expansive world and numerous quests to the mildly confusing inventory system and hard-to-beat hordes of enemies. There is so much to explore, keeping you occupied for hours on end.

PROS

  • With online PvP mode
  • Large world waiting to be explored
  • Lots of quests

CONS

  • Dated graphics and underdeveloped interiors
  • Inventory gets full easily
  • Some enemies are way too OP
